This red tea is grown in the small west coast county of Taiwan, Xin Zhu (Hsinchu). It is considered a traditional Artisan Tea and is one of Taiwan’s claims to fame in the tea industry. Most of the gardens are located in the beautiful hills near the west coast.

This is called a red tea, but it is what we know in the West as black tea. This Awakening Tea is one of the best black teas I’ve ever had. It’s smooth and rich and rejuvenating, perfect for the morning or afternoon. I could drink this every single day!
